Confraternita dello Stofiss dei Frati

Back in 2024, the Vulnerabile Confraternita dello Stofiss dei Frati visited Granja dos Moinhos to discover a traditional dish from Maçussa, the village where I live.

Adolfo Henriques, owner of the Granja and a tireless defender of the Slow Food movement, asked me to photograph the occasion. The meal was, as Adolfo only knows how to gather, a generous table with good friends around, and from that day came this small zine — a way of remembering their visit and preserving the recipe for Manja.
