São Tome e Príncipe

I was in São Tome for a short, two week, photographic trip.

The air is warm and heavy - this is a place where time slows down. The lush tropical green apears almost endless and the old roças seem to be slowly returning to the jungle. But it was the people, the sea and the quiet rhythm of leve leve that remained with me.

A place that asks for nothing more than time and tricks you into wanting to return.
